Berowra Waters Accommodation
Welcome to Berowra Waters Holiday Accommodation. The property boasts two beautifully presented places to stay and you can choose whichever one best suits your needs or is available at the time.
Both properties suit short or long term stays and offer that perfect romantic weekend getaway if that’s all you want. Both are spotlessly clean with modern bright décor and are both fully self contained.
The property is located in Arcadia in the Hornsby Shire. We are on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful and scenic waterways in Australia. We are within an hour from the centre of Sydney and halfway between Galston village and the beautiful Berowra Waters, gateway to the magnificent Hawkesbury River. Dural and Glenorie are also close by. Arcadia is known as Sydney’s best kept rural secret and is the perfect place for a relaxing escape.
The property is nestled away on 25 acres which backs onto a stunning gorge and thousands of acres of national park, with access to unlimited bush walks down to remote creeks and rock pools in the local area.
There are fruits and meats all locally grown or sold in the area either from the farm gate or the local village in what’s known as Sydney’s ‘Garden Shire’ – the Hills District.
There is a large array of wildlife at your doorstep. You can watch the eagles soar or watch the wallabies take their twilight feed. Many water fowl, including our pet Muscovy ducks, and reptiles inhabit our lake and on warm days you can leap off pride rock and swim in the clean unpolluted waters. There is the resident Shetland pony, Cindy, and the Miniature Dexter cow “Willow” for you to look at. There are 2 friendly labradors to greet you on arrival.
There are many local attractions – you can drive to Berowra Waters for fish and chips or coffee and cake or you can hire boats and kayaks at the marina to explore the many tributaries of Berowra Waters. There are some excellent fishing opportunities to be had along the river banks. Or there is always Berowra Waters Inn if you want that extra special meal. Galston and Dural are close by where you can enjoy some excellent cafes and restaurants. Why not enjoy part of The Great North Walk that runs through Berowra Waters? This exhilarating bushwalk is popular with many hikers and walkers. We are also close to Fagan Park, a great spot for picnics, family get togethers, celebrations and barbeques.
So take some time away from the pressures of life and get back to nature – relax and enjoy our exquisite accommodation surrounded by some of Sydney’s stunning natural landscapes .
